## Synopsis

Shark Tank México (2016-present) is a Mexican reality business competition series created by Mark Burnett and broadcast on Sony Channel, a Spanish-language national-television take on the pitch-and-deal format. Each episode builds around entrepreneurs who step onto a stage and present their business breakthroughs to five of the country's most prominent investors, including Arturo Elías Ayub and Carlos Bremer, who appear across the most episodes, alongside Marcus Dantus, Amaury Vergara, Alejandra Ríos and Marisa Lazo. The engine of the show is simple and concrete: a founder has a product, a sales figure or a growth plan, and must convince investors to put money and expertise into the company in exchange for equity. Every pitch unfolds as a tense negotiation, with investors probing numbers, countering offers and deciding on the spot whether to partner. The show runs as a nine-season, roughly 170-episode run of self-contained pitch episodes, each a fresh case of ambition meeting scrutiny. Its tone is brisk and engaging, with the drama of a deal on the line and the warmth of watching small and mid-sized businesses hope for their break. Fans of Shark Tank, Dragons' Den and The Apprentice will find the same appetite for entrepreneurial ambition and live negotiation here, filtered through a Mexican business landscape.
