## Synopsis

Fernando (2020-2021) is a Spanish sports documentary docuseries streamed on Prime Video. Its subject is the racing driver Fernando Alonso, who appears as himself across nine roughly fifty-minute episodes split into two seasons. The series follows his relentless drive to compete at the highest level, moving from prestigious circuit events such as the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans toward a climactic debut at the Dakar Rally. Rather than a fictional engine, the engine here is real ambition: the pressure of qualifying, the discipline of preparation, and the physical and mental toll of endurance racing. Each episode is built from access footage of Alonso in training, in the paddock, and in the cockpit, giving viewers a close view of how an elite competitor thinks. The tone is focused, admiring and energetic, with an atmosphere of motor racing adrenaline balanced by reflective moments of personal determination. Fans of Formula 1: Drive to Survive, The Last Dance and Senna will find resonance in its blend of sporting spectacle and intimate character portrait. Its appeal is strongest for motorsport fans and anyone curious about what drives a champion to keep chasing new challenges.
