## Synopsis

HIStory2: Crossing the Line (2018) is a Taiwanese boys' love romance miniseries created for LINE TV and CHOCO TV, produced by CHOCO TV. Its eight short episodes of roughly twenty-five minutes each follow Qiu Zi Xuan (Yan-Ze Lu), a former volleyball player whose promising career ended with a knee injury, though he still shows up to the team's training sessions. He meets Xia Yu Hao (Fandy Fan), a short-tempered young athlete with enormous raw talent, and decides that the dream he lost can be realized through this newcomer. Their coaching relationship slowly warms into something more personal, pulling against the expectations of the team and the pressures of competitive sport. Alongside them, the story follows Wang Zhen Wen (Meng-Lin Yang), who loves his older brother Wang Zhen Wu (Patrick Shih) but cannot voice his feelings because they are family. The atmosphere is sunny and youthful, with wistful undertones of regret and unspoken longing. Viewers who enjoy Haikyu!! for its sports camaraderie or Hidden Love for its Taiwanese romantic restraint will find resonance here. A compact, self-contained romance built on coaching, rivalry and quiet yearning.
