## Synopsis

Reacher (2022-present) is an American crime action series created by Nick Santora for Prime Video, adapted from Lee Child's novel series. Alan Ritchson plays Jack Reacher, a towering veteran military police investigator who has just left the service and now drifts across the country carrying no phone and only the barest essentials. Each season he crosses paths with a loose circle of allies and adversaries, most prominently Malcolm Goodwin as Oscar Finlay and Maria Sten as Frances Neagley, who join him as he is drawn into a fresh case, whether a murder, a cover-up or a conspiracy that reaches into the powerful. The engine is simple and relentless: Reacher wants to set a wrong right and must outthink corrupt officials and hardened killers while the violence escalates. Each season is built from self-contained cases that also thread into a larger arc, giving it the shape of a returning serialized crime saga across four seasons of eight episodes. Set in a present-day America of small towns, roadside motels and wide open highways, the show moves with brisk, muscular momentum and a dry sense of humour. Its tone is rugged and propulsive, with a streak of old-fashioned heroism. Fans of Jack Ryan, Justified and Banshee will find resonance in its blend of physical action, lone-wolf integrity and hard-boiled investigation.
