## Synopsis

Saving Grace (2007-2010) is an American crime drama with fantasy undertones created by Nancy Miller for TNT. Holly Hunter stars as Grace Hanadarko, a tormented, fast-living Oklahoma City police detective whose sharp instincts for solving cases are matched only by her talent for self-destruction. Leon Rippy plays Earl, a rough-hewn figure with a similar past who appears as an unlikely guardian angel pulling her back toward the right path, while Kenny Johnson plays Ham Dewey, a fellow officer caught in her orbit. The engine of the series is Grace's struggle between reckless nights and the tragedies that have shaped her career and private life, as each case becomes a test of whether she can change. Across three seasons and forty-six episodes, the show moves between case investigations and an ongoing personal arc, with a serialized spine built around redemption. Its tone is gritty and emotionally raw, with spiritual yearning running beneath the cop-show surface. Set in contemporary Oklahoma City, it draws the textures of southern urban life into its neon-tinged nights and rain-soaked streets. Fans of Rescue Me, The Shield and Touched by an Angel will find resonance in its blend of crime, faith and flawed heroism.
