## Synopsis

Agent Elvis (2023) is an American adult animated comedy series created by Priscilla Presley and John Eddie for Netflix. Matthew McConaughey voices Elvis Presley, the King of Rock and Roll, who is covertly recruited into a secret government spy program dedicated to battling dark forces threatening the country he loves. Kaitlin Olson voices CeCe Ryder, and Johnny Knoxville, Niecy Nash-Betts, Tom Kenny and Don Cheadle round out the principal voice cast. Elvis must juggle jetpack-powered espionage with his day job as a superstar performer, and each episode builds its comedy from mismatched team dynamics, pop culture jokes and over-the-top action set pieces. The series plays as a 3D animated spy spoof with a joyful, amused, irreverent register, blending swaggering musical showmanship with rapid-fire banter and gleefully absurd missions. Its single season of ten episodes was canceled after one run. Fans of Archer, Kingsman: The Secret Service and Sealab 2021 will find resonance in its adult animated irreverence, celebrity-driven humor and campy espionage. The result is a breezy, loud and playful ride that treats American mythology with affectionate mockery.
