## Synopsis

Mums Make Porn (2019) is a British factual reality documentary series created for Channel 4 and produced by Firecracker Films. Across three episodes in a single season, five ordinary mothers confront the way easy-access online pornography shapes their children's attitudes toward sex and intimacy. Their engine is curiosity turned into action: having looked at the material their kids are seeing, they venture into the modern adult film world and then attempt to produce their own twelve-minute explicit film. Presenter Heidi Switch appears as herself, guiding the investigation through conversations, industry visits and candid reflection on what young people are absorbing today. The show shifts between focused journalism and warm, mischievous entertainment, so earnest questions about consent, expectations and digital access sit beside playful, irreverent moments. Its atmosphere is frank, funny and humane rather than sensational, and it appeals to viewers who enjoy social documentaries about taboo subjects. Fans of Sex Box, Gogglebox and Sex Education will find resonance in its blend of candid conversation, British broadcast irreverence and everyday people tackling intimate subjects head on.
