## Synopsis

So Not Worth It (2021) is a South Korean college comedy-drama miniseries created by Kwon Ik-jun for Netflix. Across a single season of twelve half-hour episodes, the series follows a mix of students living in a colorful dormitory in Korea that houses young people from around the world. Park Se-wan plays Se-wan, a central figure in the building's shifting circle of friendships, alongside Shin Hyeon-seung as Jamie, Choi Young-jae as Sam, and MINNIE as Minnie, with Han Hyun-min and Joakim Sorensen as Hans rounding out the principal group. The engine of the show is ordinary campus life: new crushes, shared kitchens, roommate friction and the small embarrassments of living close to people you have only just met. Each episode is built from brief, character-driven situations rather than one overarching mystery, so the season moves at a breezy pace and rewards casual viewing. The tone is light and youthful, with a comic edge and sincere moments of romance and belonging. Fans of Sex Education, Never Have I Ever and Dormitory Diaries will find a similar appetite for coming-of-age romance and ensemble friendship. Its mixed critical and audience reception makes it a modest, easy watch rather than a landmark.
