## Synopsis

Love is Sweet (2020) is a Chinese romance drama series created by Yu Chung-chung and Wu Jian Xin, produced for iQiyi and adapted from a novel. Driven heroine Jiang Jun (Bai Lu), a woman with a background in economics and psychology, leaves philanthropy to fulfill her late father's wish by joining a top investment firm. There she collides with her childhood friend turned rival Yuan Shuai (Luo Yunxi), and the two are pitted against each other in a fierce contest for advancement. Supporting characters including Du Lei (Gao Hanyu) and Xu Li (Xiao Yan) fill out the office world, where ambition, backroom maneuvering and hidden schemes surface episode by episode. Jiang Jun's intelligence and resilience drive the story, as she untangles corporate intrigue while building her career and a slowly warming romance. The series unfolds across a single season of thirty-six episodes, a contemporary Chinese workplace drama that balances sharp corporate conflict with sweet, wistful romantic tension. Its tone is earnest and hopeful, with a yearning, rivalry-fueled romance at its center. Fans of Go Ahead and Suits will find resonance in its blend of career competition and romantic longing set in a modern Chinese corporate milieu.
