## Synopsis

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness (2021) is a Japanese adult animated horror action miniseries created for Netflix, a four-episode limited series produced by Quebico, TMS Entertainment and Capcom. Years after the nightmare of Raccoon City, former survivors Leon S. Kennedy, voiced by Nick Apostolides, and Claire Redfield, voiced by Stephanie Panisello, find themselves pulled into a dark conspiracy when a viral attack ravages the White House. Their engine is simple and relentless: they must uncover who is behind the outbreak while fighting through infected enemies and a government whose own officials may not be trustworthy. Each episode is built from brisk combat sequences, tense escapes and tightly staged investigation beats rather than slow character digressions. Jona Xiao as Shen May and Ray Chase as Jason join the pair as the cast expands around the crisis. The tone is grim, gory and propulsive, with a cold, dread-filled atmosphere that sits closer to a blockbuster zombie film than to a talky political thriller. Fans of the video game franchise, Castlevania and The Walking Dead will find the mix of gore, outbreak paranoia and survival action familiar, while newcomers can enter the story without deep franchise knowledge.
