## Synopsis

Earth at Night in Colour (2020-2021) is a British nature documentary docuseries made for Apple TV, narrated by Tom Hiddleston. Across two seasons and twelve half-hour episodes, the series travels to six continents to follow animals as the sun goes down. Rather than a single protagonist, its engine is the chase for behaviour that has never been seen before: predators hunting, creatures foraging, and animals raising their young in the dark. Each episode is built around a cluster of encounters, shot with advanced low-light camera technology that renders the nocturnal world in full colour. The result feels like a window onto a hidden planet that wakes up after sunset. The tone is awe-filled, gentle and wondrous, with a calm narration guiding viewers through unfamiliar habitats. Fans of Planet Earth II, Our Planet and Life on Earth will find resonance in its polished natural history craft and its sense of discovery. Its family-friendly approach makes it an easy choice for viewers who want to see the natural world with fresh eyes.
