## Synopsis

Blood of Zeus (2020-2025) is an adult animated dark fantasy series created by Charley Parlapanides and Vlas Parlapanides for Netflix, produced by Powerhouse Animation Studios. Heron, a commoner on the outskirts of ancient Greece, is the protagonist, voiced by Derek Phillips, and he is drawn into a brewing war between the gods of Olympus and the titans. Alexia, voiced by Jessica Henwick, and Seraphim, voiced by Elias Toufexis, stand among his principal allies, while Jason O'Mara voices Zeus and Claudia Christian voices Hera. Heron's engine is simple and urgent: he must uncover the secrets of his own past before an evil demon army overwhelms mankind. The show runs three seasons of eight episodes each, told as one continuing serialized saga with a mythic, action-driven rhythm. Its look leans on Japanese anime craft, with stylized combat, bold mythological imagery, and a grim, heroic register that keeps its gods dangerous and its stakes personal. The tone is epic and brooding, with frequent violence and mature content. Fans of Castlevania, Clash of the Titans and Immortals will find resonance in its blend of ancient myth, animated spectacle, and monstrous warfare.
