## Synopsis

De brutas nada (2020-2023) is a Mexican comedy-drama series created for Pantaya and ViX, a three-season ensemble dramedy following six sophisticated friends in contemporary Mexico City. Cristina Oviedo (Tessa Ía) anchors the group, with Alejandro Montero (Alejandro Montero), Esther (Marimar Vega) and Hannah Larrea (Carolina Ramírez) among the principal friends whose lives tangle around one another. The engine of the show is the constant churn of adult life: each season tracks new love affairs, secret lies, heartbreaking break-ups, marriages that falter, divorces, the raising of children, career setbacks and job loss, with fights that test the friendships but rarely break them. Episodes unfold as ongoing character threads rather than standalone cases, so the story builds across its thirty episodes and rewards watching in order. The tone blends witty banter with romantic turmoil and bittersweet moments, offering a glossy, comfortable window into affluent urban social life. Viewers who enjoy Sex and the City, Friends and Insecure will find similar resonance in its focus on friendship, romance and the messy business of growing up together. Its polished contemporary look and sharp dialogue give it a breezy but emotionally honest feel that suits viewers drawn to relationship dramas about enduring bonds.
