## Synopsis

Dash & Lily (2020) is an American holiday romantic comedy series created by Joe Tracz for Netflix, adapted from a young adult novel. Austin Abrams plays cynical Dash, who meets his match in sunny Lily, played by Midori Francis. Their courtship unfolds through a red notebook they pass back and forth around New York City, carrying messages and increasingly bold dares across the Christmas season. Dante Brown and Troy Iwata round out the principal circle as Dash's friends, while the holiday world fills with carolers, a Santa Claus figure and other festive detours. Each episode is a short, bright sequence of errands, encounters and small risks, building toward a romance that stays light on its feet. The series is set in a contemporary New York winter, all lit storefronts, snowy streets and seasonal bustle. Its tone is warm, whimsical and charming, with a sweet, heartfelt pull that rewards viewers who want a cozy romantic escape. Fans of You've Got Mail, Emily in Paris and Sex Education will find a similar mix of playful city romance and youthful sincerity. It runs for a single eight-episode season of about 26 minutes each.
