## Synopsis

Pacific Rim: The Black (2021-2022) is an American animated science fiction series created by Greg Johnson and Craig Kyle for Netflix, a two-season run of fourteen episodes. Idealistic teenager Taylor Travis (voiced by Calum Worthy) and his naive younger sister Hayley Travis (voiced by Gideon Adlon) are thrust into piloting an abandoned Jaeger, a giant robot built to fight monsters, across a hostile landscape. Their goal is simple and urgent: find their missing parents. Every episode pushes them forward through dangerous terrain, where kaiju threats and rival forces test their courage and their bond as siblings. The story leans on large-scale mecha battles with anime-inspired animation, giving each confrontation weight and spectacle. The tone blends adventure with sincere emotion, sibling loyalty, and a sense of youthful determination against overwhelming odds. Its cyberpunk-tinged world offers grit without losing its heart. Fans of Pacific Rim, Voltron: Legendary Defender and Neon Genesis Evangelion will find resonance in its giant robot action, teen pilots and monster-filled stakes. Viewers seeking a streaming animated show with kaiju battles and a close-knit sibling story will find it an engaging watch from start to finish.
