## Synopsis

Aunty Donna's Big Ol House of Fun (2020) is an Australian sketch comedy series created by Mark Bonanno, Broden Kelly and Zachary Ruane for Netflix. Its three creators play heightened versions of themselves, Broden Kelly, Mark Bonanno and Zachary Ruane, moving through a run of six short episodes built from quick sketches, musical numbers and an eclectic gallery of odd characters. Guest performers drop in for single bits, including Kia Stevens as Awesome Kong, Karan Soni as Jerry Seinfeld, Antony Starr as Stray Man and Kristen Schaal as a dishwasher, each cameo pushing the premise further into strangeness. Rather than following a single storyline, the show is a sequence of self-contained bits, where a mundane setup abruptly tips into surreal logic and the trio's friendly chemistry keeps the chaos grounded. The tone is silly, loose and deliberately strange, with a dark undercurrent that gives the gags a cynical edge. Its unpredictable, anarchic rhythm will appeal to viewers who enjoy the offbeat energy of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! and the sharp surrealism of Mr. Show with Bob and David. Expect short, rapid-fire comedy that rewards repeat viewing.
