## Synopsis

Ranking of Kings (2021-2022) is a Japanese animated shounen fantasy adventure series produced by WIT STUDIO and aired on Fuji TV and affiliated regional stations. Its single season of twenty-three episodes follows Bojji, a kindly, hearing-impaired prince who is mocked as unfit for the throne in a medieval kingdom where rulers are literally ranked by strength. His ambition to become a powerful king pushes him into dangerous journeys, and he is joined by the brooding Kage and a growing circle of unlikely allies. The engine of each episode is a mix of quest, political maneuvering and personal loyalty, as Bojji's quiet determination meets a world that values muscle over character. Voice performances by Minami Hinata as Bojji and Ayumu Murase as Kage anchor the emotional core. The tone is earnest and warm, with moments of heavy drama and action. Fans of Made in Abyss, Attack on Titan and Avatar: The Last Airbender will find resonance in its blend of fantasy adventure, underdog heart and found family. It suits viewers who enjoy character-driven anime with an emotional sincerity that rewards patience.
