## Synopsis

The All-New Super Friends Hour (1977-1978) is an American animated superhero series created for ABC by Hanna-Barbera. Built on the Justice League and associated DC Comics characters, it follows a team of heroes led by Superman (voiced by Danny Dark), with Batman (Olan Soule), Wonder Woman (Shannon Farnon), Aquaman (Norman Alden), and Robin (Casey Kasem) at the core of the ensemble. Each hour-long episode pits the team against a new villain, monster, or scheme, and the engine is simple: the heroes spot trouble, improvise with gadgets and their individual powers, and win through teamwork while the sidekick banter keeps the mood light. The series runs a single season of sixty episodes, a classic Saturday morning block with brisk, self-contained adventures rather than a continuing storyline. Its tone is bright, cheerful and kid-friendly, with a reliable comic rhythm and little real danger. Fans of Super Friends, Justice League Unlimited and Teen Titans will find a similar appeal in its ensemble heroics and nostalgic cartoon energy, set in no particular era beyond the 1970s television world that produced it.
