## Synopsis

Tiny Pretty Things (2020) is an American teen mystery drama series created by Michael MacLennan for Netflix. Set at an elite ballet academy in contemporary America, the story follows a newcomer who steps into the place of a star student left unable to dance after an attack. Her rise pulls her into a world where every classmate has a motive, and the search for who was responsible becomes tangled with jealousy, romance and buried secrets. Brennan Clost, Barton Cowperthwaite, Bayardo De Murguia, Damon J. Gillespie, Kylie Jefferson, Casimere Jollette, Anna Maiche, Daniela Norman, Michael Rosen and Tory Trowbridge make up the young ensemble cast. The series runs for one season of ten hour-long episodes and was canceled before its central mystery was resolved. Each episode mixes dance rehearsals, backstage sabotage and whispered confrontations, giving the show a glossy, competitive atmosphere. Its tone is sleek and soapy, with a sense of dread running beneath the polished surfaces. Fans of Black Swan, Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl will find the same mix of rivalry, scandal and privileged youth here.
