## Synopsis

Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside (2021-2024) is a Japanese animated isekai slow life comedy produced by Wolfsbane and Studio Flad and broadcast on AT-X. Ryota Suzuki voices Red, a former member of a hero's party who was cast out by his companions and now hopes to open an apothecary in a small frontier town where nobody knows his history. His plan to keep his past secret keeps running into trouble, especially when Ruti, voiced by Naomi Ohzora, and Rit, voiced by Kanon Takao, arrive with ties to his old life. The engine of the series is ordinary small town work: mixing remedies, serving customers, dealing with local errands and quiet money worries, while the hero tries to stay out of the spotlight. Each episode is a light, self-contained vignette rather than a dramatic quest, and the story unfolds across two seasons and twenty-five episodes. Set in a fantasy world of villages and magic, the show is warm, breezy and gently humorous, with a comforting atmosphere and a touch of romantic tension. Fans of Ascendance of a Bookworm and Slime Diaries will find resonance in its cozy, low-stakes charm.
