## Synopsis

38 Parrots is a Soviet puppet-animated children's series made for national television, consisting of ten short cartoons of about nine minutes each. Its ensemble is a monkey, a baby elephant, a parrot and a boa constrictor, along with the boa's grandmother, whose everyday interactions drive each episode. Warm voice performances give the characters their comic personalities. Each short builds a small, gentle problem among the friends and resolves it with a light moral lesson rather than high stakes. The overall feel is cozy, whimsical and nostalgic, with playful absurd humor suited to very young viewers. Its compact, self-contained format makes it an easy watch, and fans of classic Soviet children's animation and gentle animal-friend cartoons will find familiar comfort here. The series remains a fondly remembered piece of Soviet childhood television, revisited across generations for its simple charm and kindness.
