## Synopsis

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team (2006-present) is an American reality docuseries that aired on CMT across sixteen seasons and 148 episodes. Each season follows the annual auditions and making of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders squad, with returning figures such as Kelli Finglass and Judy Trammell appearing as themselves. The engine of the show is the grueling tryout itself: hopefuls rehearse routines, face repeated cuts from a demanding panel, and fight for one of a limited number of places on the team. Each half-hour episode moves through practice rooms, dance floors, and interview rooms, building toward the final selections. The format is unscripted and self-contained within each season, so viewers can enter at any point. Its tone is upbeat and earnest, with a focus on determination, discipline, and the pressure of being judged in public. Fans of Dance Moms, Hard Knocks, and Making the Team will find the same blend of competitive tension and behind-the-scenes access. The series offers a clear window into the professional sports spectacle surrounding a Texas football franchise and the performers who represent it.
