Audience reception is mixed, with viewers enjoying the return to Zootopia's world and its lively animal residents while finding the short episodes slight compared with the feature film.

## Synopsis

Zootopia+ (2022) is a Disney+ animated family spinoff of the feature film Zootopia, created by Trent Correy, Josie Trinidad and Michael Herrera. Its single season of six roughly eleven-minute episodes returns to the mammal metropolis to follow a slew of its residents rather than one central hero. Ginnifer Goodwin reprises her role as the optimistic rabbit officer Judy Hopps, with Kristen Bell as Priscilla and Bonnie Hunt and Don Lake as the Hopps parents, anchoring the family connections that ground the city's stories. Each episode is a self-contained vignette built around everyday mishaps, small community dilemmas and the quirks of a diverse population of animals, so the engine is simply watching a neighborhood of characters navigate their days. The mood is light, colorful and warm, with bright computer-animated city streets and gentle humor aimed at younger viewers and families. Reviewers found the format charming but slight, with audiences rating it moderately overall. Fans of Zootopia, Gravity Falls and Dinosaur Train will find a similar blend of animal-world whimsy and family-friendly comedy in a short, easy-to-watch package.
