## Synopsis

Win or Lose (2025) is a American animated family comedy miniseries created for Disney+, produced with Pixar's polished 3d animation. Across eight roughly twenty-minute episodes, the story follows an amateur softball team ahead of a championship game, with Coach Dan (Will Forte) steering a squad of eight players including Laurie (Rosanna Jean Foss), Frank (Josh Thomson), Rochelle (Milan Ray), Vanessa (Rosa Salazar), and James (Lil Rel Howery) through the pressure of the season. Each episode weaves the diamond action with the personal curveballs hitting the players away from the field, so the engine of the show is how a team keeps its footing when life outside the game refuses to wait. The format is a single continuing arc told in a short run, giving it an easy, warm rhythm. The tone stays breezy, good-humored, and sincerely hopeful, with the kind of comfort that suits a family viewing night. Fans of Ted Lasso, Bluey, and Cleopatra in Space will find resonance in its gentle humor, ensemble heart, and underdog spirit. Set in a present-day American community, it stays grounded in everyday youth sports life.
