## Synopsis

The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers is a Disney+ family sports comedy series set in present day Minnesota, continuing the Mighty Ducks films. Lauren Graham plays Alex Morrow, a determined mom who helps her son Evan, a twelve-year-old cut from the ultra-competitive Ducks youth hockey team. Together they gather a ragtag crew of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of competitive youth sports. Emilio Estevez returns as coach Gordon Bombay, adding a familiar mentor presence. The engine of the show is simple: a scrappy team has to learn teamwork, practice hard and believe in itself while rivals and overbearing parents push back. Each episode is a brisk, lighthearted game-day story with comic mishaps and heartfelt moments about growing up. The tone stays warm, cozy and uplifting, with plenty of hockey action and little real darkness. Fans of the original Mighty Ducks films and other plucky underdog stories will find the same spirit of found family and rooting for the outsiders.
