## Synopsis

A Tale of Thousand Stars (2021) is a Thai miniseries drama romance created for GMM 25, a GMMTV production with a boys love thread. A man who has received a heart transplant resolves to help the donor, a woman, keep a promise she made to the man she loved, and that errand pulls him into the lives of the people around her. Sahaphap Wongratch plays Tian, and Pirapat Watthanasetsiri plays Phupha, with Sarunchana Apisamaimongkol as Torfun, Krittanai Arsalprakit as Nam and Thanawat Ratanakitpaisan as Longtae among the principal cast. The engine is a slow, tender pursuit of an unfinished promise, shaped by the accidents and debts that tie the characters together. The series runs as a single self-contained season of ten episodes, each about seventy-five minutes long, and it is one continuing story rather than a case-of-the-week format. Its setting is a Thai countryside village in the present day, with forests, local life and quiet rural routines. The tone is melancholic yet hopeful, with unrequited love, terminal illness and revenge woven through flashbacks. Fans of Thai romance dramas and of emotionally driven series such as My Heart Skips a Beat will find resonance in its gentle pacing and its ache.
