## Synopsis

The Good Girls Club (2020-2025) is a Portuguese national-television drama series created by Patrícia Sequeira for OPTO, produced with SP Televisão and SIC. Set in the night-time world of the capital, it follows a security guard, a club owner and a newcomer, the new girl, as their lives tangle around a glamorous venue where sensuality and sex blend with politics, business and private security. Principal players include Lourenço Ortigão as Kiko, Margarida Vila-Nova as Vera Leão, José Raposo as Alberto Viana, Vera Kolodzig as Maria Santos and Ana Cristina Oliveira as Martina Chernoff. The engine of the show is the push and pull between those who guard the doors, those who own the room and those who arrive hoping to be seen, with each stretch of episodes built around deals, rivalries and favours traded after dark. Spanning seven seasons and forty-seven episodes of roughly forty-five minutes, it moves as one continuing serialized story rather than standalone cases. Its tone is sultry and glossy, shading into intrigue and quiet melancholy about what the night costs the people working in it. Fans of Vinyl, Borgen and Sense8 will find resonance in its mix of glamour, power and intimate human stakes.
