## Synopsis

Pam & Tommy is a US limited series created by Robert D. Siegel for Hulu. Lily James plays Pamela Anderson and Sebastian Stan plays Tommy Lee, a couple whose private videotape is stolen and circulated in the 1990s. Seth Rogen and Nick Offerman join a cast of associates, lawyers, dealers and opportunistic businessmen who each try to profit from or suppress the footage. Across eight roughly forty-four minute episodes, the series moves through the grubby machinery of the tabloid era, with its shady deals, litigious lawyers and gossip-hungry media. Its tone is biting and satirical, blending comedic absurdity with a sharper look at how celebrity privacy was treated as public property. Set in 1990s Los Angeles, it captures the look and attitude of the period. Fans of The Dropout, Gaslit and Super Pumped will find resonance in its true story dramedy approach to scandal and media excess.
