## Synopsis

Nickelodeon GUTS (1992-1995) is an American kids' reality competition series produced for Nickelodeon. Hosted by Mike O'Malley, with referee Moira Quirk keeping order, it drops young contestants into a fantasy sports landscape full of absurd physical obstacles. Each half-hour episode builds around stunts such as the basketball-based Slam Dunk challenge and rock climbing up the Aggro Crag, where the goal is simply to get through the course and win the moment. Guest athletes Dominique Wilkins, Picabo Street and Evander Holyfield appear as themselves, adding a sports-celebrity flavor to the playful spectacle. Running four seasons and 158 episodes, the show works as a self-contained, case-by-case format rather than a continuing story. Its tone is bright, loud and goofy, with a nineties slime-and-stunts energy that feels nostalgic for viewers who grew up watching Nickelodeon. Fans of Double Dare, Legends of the Hidden Temple and American Gladiators will find a similar mix of physical play and game-show showmanship.
