## Synopsis

Color Rush (2020-2022) is a South Korean television romance mystery series created by Se Sang for Viki, Seezn, Shortime and Shortcha. Across two seasons and sixteen short episodes of about twenty minutes each, it follows Choi Yeon-woo (Yoo Jun), a high school student who is neurologically colorblind and can only perceive color through Go Yoo-han (Hur Hyun-jun), the classmate whose presence triggers his so-called color rush. Their intense bond becomes entangled with the investigation into the disappearance of Yeon-woo's mother, a search that pulls in his aunt Yoo Yi-rang (Yeon Min-ji) and other figures from their school life. The engine of the story is the push and pull between craving closeness and fearing what the connection reveals, with each episode unspooling clues while the romance grows more fraught. The tone is melancholic, aching and obsessive, with angst running through the teen drama and a supernatural undertone that keeps the mystery unsettled. Fans of Hwayugi, Extraordinary You and Heartstopper will find resonance in its queer youth romance, emotional intensity and compact Korean storytelling.
