## Synopsis

10 Thousand Steps (2020-present) is a Turkish comedy drama series created by Devin Özgür Çınar for GAİN. Two former lovers, Memet (Engin Günaydın) and Ezgi (Devin Özgür Çınar, who also co-created the show), make a pact to walk ten thousand steps together every single day. The engine of the series is the simple daily commitment: each brief ten-minute episode follows whatever ordinary events befall the pair during their walk, whether small arguments, chance encounters with neighbors and strangers, or the everyday urban mishaps of Istanbul. Supporting figures such as Ceren (Müjgân Ferhan Şensoy) and İlker (Efe Tunçer) drift in and out, adding texture to the pair's routine. The show is an open-ended, returning run across three seasons of ten episodes each, building a continuing story out of brief vignettes rather than standalone case-of-the-week plots. Its tone is wistful and warm, balancing light humor with the quiet ache of unfinished romance, and the atmosphere is intimate and conversational, centered on two people talking as they move through the city. Fans of Fleabag, Catastrophe and Lovers Rock will find resonance in its blend of playful banter, romantic longing and small-scale realism. Its short runtime makes it an easy, low-commitment watch.
