## Synopsis

The Void (2021) is a Turkish crime drama series created by Mert Dikmen and Fulya Özcan, broadcast on Exxen as a single ten-episode season of roughly forty minutes each. Burçin Terzioğlu plays Esma, an ambitious and strong woman who serves as the second boss of her father's law firm, while Hande Doğandemir plays Filiz, a stubborn but fragile lawyer candidate. Their paths converge when one murder pulls them into the same orbit, and the engine of the story lies in how each woman's ambitions, weaknesses and loyalties are tested by the case. İsmail Hacıoğlu plays Selim Demirci, one of the principal figures whose position shifts as the investigation tightens. Set in contemporary Istanbul, the series moves through the boardrooms, courtrooms and private rooms of a legal world where reputation is currency. Its tone is taut and intimate, with a brooding, morally tangled atmosphere shaped by secrets and class tension. Fans of Suits, Big Little Lies and Better Call Saul will find resonance in its legal intrigue and its focus on ambitious characters pressed by a single crime. The series was canceled after its first season, leaving its central mystery open.
