## Synopsis

The Little Lulu Show (1995-1999) is a Canadian-American animated comedy series created by Marge for HBO and HBO Family, adapted from the Marjorie Henderson Buell comic book character produced by CINAR after the creator's death. Over three seasons and 64 episodes of roughly 22 minutes each, the show follows the spirited, mischievous Lulu Moppet, voiced by Tracey Ullman, and her loyal best friend Tubby Thompkins, voiced by Bruce Dinsmore. Their small escapades and neighborhood misadventures drive each story, with the challenges of childhood and the pull of friendship shaping every plot. Between the animated segments, Lulu hosts stand-up comedy bits, a distinctive format that gives the program its playful, theatrical rhythm. Its tone is breezy, warm, and gently comic, aimed at children and families, and it carries a nostalgic charm for viewers who remember the classic comic strip. Fans of Peanuts, Dennis the Menace and The Get Along Gang will find similar resonance in its wholesome, lighthearted portrait of childhood. The series remains a cozy, easy watch built on innocence, humor, and affection.
