## Synopsis

The Whitest Kids U' Know (2007-2011) is an American cable sketch comedy series created by Sam Brown, Zach Cregger, Trevor Moore, Darren Trumeter and Timmy Williams for Fuse and IFC. Led by Trevor Moore and Zach Cregger, the New York-based ensemble performs every sketch themselves, with Timmy Williams and Darren Trumeter rounding out the core troupe. Each thirty-minute episode is a rapid run of self-contained bits that take aim at stereotypes, everyday foibles and ironies, pushing each premise past comfort toward the outrageous. Rather than a single storyline, the series is an anthology of recurring characters and escalating absurd setups, with its engine being the troupe's appetite for whatever is least politically correct. Its tone is provocative, irreverent and deliberately uncomfortable, a loud, rough-edged take on a modern cable comedy scene. The five seasons ran sixty episodes in total, and the show sits in the lineage of Mr. Show with Bob and David and Chappelle's Show for fans who like boundary-pushing sketch work with a sharp satirical bite.
