## Synopsis

Doom at Your Service (2021) is a South Korean romantic fantasy drama created by Im Mea-ri for tvN, a Studio Dragon production that runs as a single sixteen-episode season. Park Bo-young plays Tak Dong-kyung, a woman with a short time left to live, and Seo In-guk plays Myul Mang, a man whose supernatural power could bring the world to an end. Their uneasy domestic arrangement drives the series, as she tries to make the most of her remaining days while he struggles with a power he cannot easily control. Supporting turns from Lee Soo-hyuk, Kang Tae-oh and Shin Do-hyun fill out the circle of friends and rivals around them. Each episode mixes the sweetness of a first love with bursts of absurd comedy and quiet melancholy about mortality, grief and what makes a life meaningful. The tone stays tender and whimsical while acknowledging real loss, and the story unfolds in contemporary urban Korea rather than a distant fantasy realm. Viewers who enjoy the fated romance of Goblin, the melancholic warmth of Our Beloved Summer, and the supernatural romantic comedy of My Love from the Star will find a familiar emotional pull here. It works as a self-contained romance for anyone seeking a moving, funny and bittersweet k-drama with a cosmic hook.
