## Synopsis

And Just Like That… (2021-2025) is an American HBO Max comedy-drama series created by Darren Star, a revival and continuation of Sex and the City. Sarah Jessica Parker returns as Carrie Bradshaw, the columnist navigating love, loss and work in her fifties, alongside Cynthia Nixon as the lawyer Miranda Hobbes and Kristin Davis as the polished Charlotte York. Newer principal characters include Sara Ramirez as Che Diaz, Sarita Choudhury as Seema Patel and Cathy Ang as Lily Goldenblatt, with Mario Cantone as Anthony Marentino. Across three seasons and thirty-three episodes, the engine is the friends' effort to keep their bond intact while their careers, marriages and beliefs drift apart in a changing Manhattan. Each episode is built around everyday dilemmas such as dating apps, workplace politics, parenting and family obligations, rendered in glossy apartments and cafes. The tone is witty and sentimental, with breezy banter cut against wistful reflection on aging and reinvention. Fans of Sex and the City, Girls and Fleabag will find resonance in its mix of candid humor and midlife vulnerability, set in contemporary New York City and told in a continuing serialized format.
