## Synopsis

Vivy -Fluorite Eye's Song- (2021) is a Japanese anime science fiction series produced by WIT STUDIO and Aniplex, broadcast on Gunma TV, TOKYO MX, BS11 and Tochigi TV. Its single season of thirteen episodes follows Vivy (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki), a diva-type artificial intelligence who performs on stage each day hoping to put her heart into her song. Her world is pulled apart when Matsumoto (voiced by Jun Fukuyama), an A.I. who claims to have arrived from a century in the future, appears with an urgent request. The engine of the story is a mission that asks Vivy to reshape what she is for, while the obstacles of a distrustful near-future society and a larger threat press in from every side. Each episode mixes concert-style musical moments with action and suspense, so the series reads as a single arc rather than a case of the week. Set in a near-future Japan, it is a self-contained, compact journey. Its tone is wistful and melancholic, with a hopeful core about art, memory and what makes a machine feel human. Fans of Planetes, Macross Frontier and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles will find resonance in its blend of sci-fi stakes and emotional music-driven drama.
