## Synopsis

Speed Buggy (1973) is an American animated adventure comedy created for CBS by Hanna-Barbera Cartoons. Its single season of sixteen half-hour episodes follows three teenagers, Mark, Debbie and Tinker, and their talking dune buggy as they travel to assorted locations around the world in search of adventure. Voice actors Michael Bell as Mark, Arlene Golonka as Debbie, Phil Luther Jr. as Tinker and Mel Blanc as the buggy himself bring the crew to life. Each episode is a self-contained outing built around a new setting and a new brush with mild peril, resolved through the group's good nature and the buggy's quick wit. The look is bright and cartoonish, the mood is breezy and gentle, and the pacing stays light throughout. Fans of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! and other Saturday morning adventure cartoons from the era will find the same comfortable, playful energy here, suited to young viewers and family viewing alike.
