## Synopsis

Te Sigo Amando (1996-1997) is a Mexican telenovela created by Delia Fiallo for Las Estrellas, a Televisa production. Yulissa Torres-Quintero (Claudia Ramírez) is a beautiful young woman from an upper-class family, orphaned young and raised by a cruel grandmother, Paula Garza (Carmen Montejo), who feigns sickness to manipulate her grandchildren. When Paula is left ruined and penniless, she mortgages the family's assets to the landowner Ignacio Aguirre (Sergio Goyri), owner of the Arroyo Negro hacienda, as a last resort against poverty. Yulissa's romantic entanglements with Luis Ángel Zaldívar (Luis José Santander) and Aguirre become tangled with class pride, inherited debt, and family loyalty. Told across a single run of 115 episodes, the series unfolds through daily installments of confrontations, schemes, and heartfelt longing, with a sweeping melodramatic register and an atmosphere of faded grandeur. Its emotional core lies in the tension between love and social expectation. Fans of Betty la fea, Rosalinda and other Latin American telenovelas will find resonance in its sincere, heightened romance and its portrait of a proud family brought low.
