## Synopsis

Canine Intervention (2021) is an American unscripted reality series created for Netflix, a six-episode single-season run that was canceled after its first season. Oakland dog trainer Jas Leverette (Jasalah Leverette) runs Cali K9, one of the top dog training facilities in California, where he takes in dogs of every breed with stubborn or dangerous behavior problems and works to correct them. The engine of each episode is the handling itself: a client dog arrives with a specific problem, the trainer assesses it, and the episode follows the sessions until the animal and its owner show measurable change. Guest appearances from athletes Marshawn Lynch and Andre Berto add celebrity pull to a few episodes. The series is shaped as a short, self-contained case-by-case format rather than a continuing story, and its present-day setting is the contemporary Bay Area. The tone is hopeful and practical, with a warm, hands-on focus on rescue and rehabilitation. Fans of Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan and It's Me or the Dog will find the same blend of expert coaching and visible transformation, and viewers who enjoy Queer Eye's makeover arc will recognize its satisfying before-and-after rhythm.
