## Synopsis

Transformers: War for Cybertron: Earthrise (2020) is a Netflix-commissioned animated science fiction action miniseries created as a US production, with Entertainment One and Polygon Pictures among its production companies. Across six 24-minute episodes, the Autobot heroes including Optimus Prime (voiced by Jake Foushee), Bumblebee (Joe Zieja) and Arcee (Sophia Isabella) fight to save all of Cybertron, while Megatron, voiced by Jason Marnocha as Galvatron, takes drastic measures to rescue the Decepticons. The engine of the story is a long war fought both across the planet's surface and aboard the Ark, where scheming, deception and shifting alliances complicate every battle. Each episode is built around spectacular robot combat, vehicle chases and tactical set pieces, with a focus on loyalty and teamwork. The tone is brisk, energetic and family friendly, with a clear good versus evil divide. Its stylized anime-influenced animation and toy-based heritage place it firmly in the tradition of the Transformers franchise. Fans of Transformers: Prime, Voltron: Legendary Defender and Star Wars: The Clone Wars will find the same mix of mechanical spectacle and rivalry. The series wraps its single season with a sense of momentum toward what comes next.
