## Synopsis

The Legend of Hanuman (2021-present) is an Indian animated mythological fantasy series created by Charuvi Agrawal, Jeevan J. Kang and Sharad Devarajan and produced by Graphic India for Disney+ Hotstar. Adapted from the Ramayana tradition, it follows Hanuman, a humble vaanar who awakens to his divinity and must rise from mighty warrior to immortal god. Sharad Kelkar voices the power-hungry demon king Ravan, whose rampage across the world unleashes evil, while Sanket Mhatre voices Ram and Daman Baggan voices the menacing Void Demon. The engine of the series is a steady stream of battles, trials and confrontations in which Hanuman becomes a beacon against overwhelming darkness. Its seven seasons are one continuing serialized saga told in brisk episodes, with a sweeping, grand scale across ancient India and mythic realms. The tone is earnest and heroic, with devotional warmth and a stirring sense of hope, suggesting fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender and Mahabharat will find resonance in its mythic epic scope and moral clarity.
