## Synopsis

WeCrashed (2022) is a United States Apple TV limited series created by Drew Crevello and Lee Eisenberg, a dramatized true-story business drama adapted from a Wondery podcast. Across eight episodes it follows the marriage at the heart of the coworking giant WeWork, with Jared Leto as Adam Neumann and Anne Hathaway as Rebekah Neumann, the charismatic founders who turn a single shared workspace into a brand worth tens of billions of dollars. Kyle Marvin plays co-founder Miguel McKelvey, whose steadier instincts pull against the couple's appetite for spectacle. The engine of the story is ambition with no brakes: each funding round, sweeping expansion and grand pitch raises the stakes, while the couple's personal loyalty is tested by money, image and the investors gathering around them. Episodes move between boardroom negotiations, glossy product launches and intimate domestic fallout, building a sense of dread beneath the optimism. Set in 2010s Manhattan and the wider startup world of the American tech boom, it is a bittersweet, glossy and unsettling portrait of hype outrunning reality. Fans of The Dropout, Super Pumped and Industry will find resonance in its blend of true-story business scandal, charismatic founder hubris and a volatile couple at the center.
