## Synopsis

My Friend's Little Sister Has It In for Me! (2025) is a Japanese animated romantic comedy series adapted from a light novel, produced by BLADE and NK Animation and aired across Japan on Asahi network stations. The series follows high schooler Akiteru Oboshi (voiced by Haruki Ishiya), who considers friendship, fun and dating a complete waste of time. His plans collapse when his best friend's sister, Iroha Kohinata (voiced by Sayumi Suzushiro), keeps invading his room, lounging on his bed and teasing him at every turn while insisting she finds him irritating. The engine of each episode is the escalating tug-of-war between his cool indifference and her relentless, comically overbearing affection, with other classmates such as Mashiro Tsukinomori (Tomori Kusunoki) and Sumire Kageishi (Kana Hanazawa) adding romantic complications to the school setting. The single twelve-episode season moves briskly through short, self-contained gags that build into a larger romantic arc. Set in contemporary Japanese high school life, the show has a light, breezy, sweetly teasing register. Fans of My Dress-Up Darling, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War and Rent-a-Girlfriend will find familiar pleasures in its affectionate banter and slow-building attraction.
