## Synopsis

Bravas (2020) is a Puerto Rican and American drama series, a short eight-episode run and a Spanish-language scripted series, with its first season released in 2020. It follows three close friends, Mila (Audri Nix), Roja (Nohemy Águila) and Ashley (Amanda Antonella), who push hard to find their place in a world that offers them few easy doors. Their story is built around ambition, loyalty and the risks they will take to get ahead, with the Latin urban music scene providing the backdrop and the pulse of the show. Liz Dieppa plays Tanamá and Omalik J. Rosado plays Julito, both rounding out the principal circle around the three women. Each episode moves briskly, tracking the friends through the choices and pressures that come with chasing a dream in contemporary Puerto Rico. The tone is youthful, restless and emotionally charged, with a grounded, contemporary feel and a sharp eye for street-level energy. Fans of Vida and Elite will find resonance in its portrait of ambitious young people, music-driven urban life and friendships tested by ambition. The series is a compact, single-season drama that rewards viewers who enjoy character-led stories set against a vibrant musical culture.
