## Synopsis

September Mornings (2021-2022) is a Brazilian drama series created for Prime Video, a short two-season run totaling eleven half-hour episodes. Liniker plays Cassandra, a courier in downtown São Paulo who has finally built a modest, hopeful life with her own home, a loving boyfriend named Ivaldo (Thomás Aquino), and a dream of painting cover art for Vanusa, a celebrated Brazilian singer of the 1970s. That fragile stability is upended when her former partner Leide (Karine Teles) returns with a boy, Gersinho (Gustavo Coelho), and claims he is Cassandra's son. The engine of the show is the tension between the life she has worked for and the obligations that suddenly reopen, played out in intimate scenes of work, family negotiation and city streets. Seu Jorge appears in a supporting role as Lourenço. The tone is tender, warm and quietly melancholic, with moments of humor and a grounded, observational realism. Its contemporary setting gives it an everyday texture, and fans of intimate urban character dramas such as Pose, Looking and Euphoria will find resonance in its portrait of identity, belonging and the families people build for themselves.
