## Synopsis

Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan (2017-2020) is a Japanese animated supernatural mystery miniseries produced by David Production and voiced by Takahiro Sakurai, a spin-off of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure franchise. Its protagonist, the famous manga creator Rohan Kishibe, uses a stand power while researching his next work and finds himself drawn into uncanny events, including a trip to Italy that leaves him broke and entangled in strange cases. Each of the four short episodes, around twenty-five minutes long, is a self-contained tale in which Rohan confronts an unsettling phenomenon, with the supporting characters voiced by Mai Nakahara, Kaori Mizuhashi and Atsumi Tanezaki. The series is a single season of four episodes with a grounded, eerie register, where dread builds slowly and the protagonist's arrogance and curiosity keep the stories moving. Its tone is dry, wry and unsettling rather than frantic, and its visual style leans on detailed, moody linework. Fans of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Mob Psycho 100 will find resonance in its blend of stylized powers, eccentric characters and eerie tales, and the show suits viewers who enjoy compact, atmospheric supernatural anime.
