## Synopsis

Sasquatch (2021) is a three-episode American documentary limited series created by Joshua Rofé for Hulu, produced with the Duplass Brothers. Investigative journalist David Holthouse, appearing as himself, takes on a bizarre triple homicide from roughly twenty-five years earlier, a killing that local talk has blamed on a mythical creature. The engine of the show is simple and concrete: Holthouse knocks on doors, revisits old police files, interviews rural witnesses and weighs the stubborn folklore against ordinary human suspects, while the evidence stays frustratingly thin. Each of the three roughly forty-five minute episodes moves the inquiry forward through interviews, archival material and trips into the woods of the Pacific Northwest. The tone is eerie and unsettled, pairing the playful pull of cryptid lore with the sober weight of real violence and grieving families. Fans of The Jinx, Making a Murderer and other true crime docuseries that treat a stubborn case as a personal quest will find the same blend of investigation and atmosphere here, with a mystery that refuses easy answers and a host whose curiosity drives every step.
