## Synopsis

Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! (2021) is an American single-camera family sitcom created by Bentley Kyle Evans for Netflix. Jamie Foxx stars as Brian Dixon, a single father who owns a cosmetics brand and suddenly has to adjust his routine when his strong-minded teenage daughter Sasha Dixon (Kyla-Drew) moves in with him. The engine of the show is the everyday friction between a parent who is trying hard and a teen who refuses to be impressed, playing out across brisk half-hour episodes built around work pressures, school life, and small domestic clashes. Supporting cast includes David Alan Grier, Porscha Coleman, Heather Hemmens, and Valente Rodriguez, rounding out the household and social circle. The series runs as a single season of eight episodes, a short, self-contained comedy whose tone stays breezy and affectionate rather than harsh. Its humor leans on familiar generational clashes and on Foxx's comic presence and impressions. Fans of Fresh Off the Boat, Blackish, and Full House will find a similar warmth in its domestic comedy, though it stays lighter and more formulaic than those shows.
