## Synopsis

Country Comfort (2021) is an American family sitcom created by Caryn Lucas for Netflix. Up-and-coming country singer Bailey (Katharine McPhee) accepts a job as nanny to a musical household, and the series follows her as she tries to build her own career while finding the bond she has always missed. Eddie Cibrian plays Beau, a member of the family who shares the house's warmth and bustle, and Ricardo Hurtado and Jamie Martin Mann play the children Tuck and Brody, whose everyday squabbles and small crises give each short episode its shape. Running ten episodes of roughly twenty-three minutes, the single season is a light, episodic comedy in which music and kitchen-table domestic mishaps drive the laughs. Its tone is cozy, sincere and breezy, with heartwarming moments folded into the sitcom rhythm. Country music shapes the setting and the mood, and the show sits within a tradition of wholesome family comedy, drawing comparisons to The Ranch and the musical warmth of The Sound of Music for viewers who want a gentle, singalong household story. The series was canceled after its only season, leaving its storylines open.
